In today’s world, domestic kitchen waste is generated in a tremendous amount. Reuse of waste is either negligible or improper. We had tried to convert domestic waste into an active skincare product. To achieve the tar- get, domestic waste particularly vegetables, fruits and flowers extract were processed with coconut oil in the presence of an alkaline solution to form the soap. The procedure involves the cold-process method of soap making without oil blending. The saponification value of coconut oil has been calculated along with physiochemical analysis of prepared soap for texture, pH, test for acidity/ alkalinity, foam test and foamability. The analysis uses standard methods of analysis employed widely. The final product are ecofriendly alkaline soap with excellent foamability and cleaning activity without any harmful chemicals. The antimicrobial activities of the soap are in process of investigation (Ugale, 2022)
